HFM LAUNCHES ITS NEW AND IMPROVED WEB SITE
New site is easy to navigate and user-friendlya

New York, NY (April 4, 2008) - The National Society for Healthcare Foodservice Management (HFM) today launched its newly redesigned Web site, www.hfm.org.

The content of the site has been arranged to be more user-friendly and the design has been streamlined and vastly improved for easier navigation.

"It is organized intuitively in order to better showcase the offerings of HFM and to quickly lead members and non-members to the information they need," said HFM president, Mary Angela Miller, administrative director for the Ohio State University Medical Center.

Visitors can expect enhanced graphics and new features including headshots of all HFM Board and Industry Advisory Council members, HFM elite sponsor logos, an expanded industry events calendar and a conference highlights section.

The site will also contain frequent updates about HFM activities and member news, and give new visitors a chance to sample HFM member exclusive benefits via teasers.

In conjunction with the Web site's launch, HFM is hosting an online treasure hunt for its members. One free annual membership to HFM is being raffled off to the person who answers all the questions correctly.

HFM debuted www.hfm.org 10 years ago. Since then, the Web site has gone through a few redesigns, with the last coming in 2004. Neverland Software & Systems were the original developers and currently hosts the HFM Web site. Kellen Interactive in Atlanta, GA, designed the new site.

This year also marks HFM's 20th anniversary. The 2008 Annual Leadership Conference will be held at The Homestead in Hot Springs, VA, Sept. 15-19.
