Welcome from the CEO, Cheryl Collins

Dear Friends,

It is with great excitement that we welcome you to Holy Family Ministries. I am honored to have the opportunity to lead an organization with a rich 38-year tradition of working with Chicago’s children and their families, providing academic experiences that are rigorous and relevant in their communities and in the larger world beyond.

We continually give thanks for our many wonderful friends and donors who provide prayers and support so that our children thrive --- the majority of our budget is made up of contributed gifts, to support tuition assistance. To meet some of our generous donors, click here.

We admire our parents and families who work hard to ensure that their children obtain the tools they need to move past the barriers they may face in their communities. 

The children we serve come to believe in themselves and their dreams. Every day I see living proof of our success, thanks to God’s grace and generous friends. I have watched our youngest students in pre-school develop a love of learning that leads to success in kindergarten. Self-assured 8th grade graduates eagerly accept their diplomas, prepared to face the unknown challenges of high school, college, and careers. They are confident in their ability to serve God through their chosen vocations.

After school and summertime are transformed into learning adventures with academics, arts, and fitness modules that challenge and inspire. Our young Peace Builders develop leadership skills they carry forward into their communities with their message of peaceful conflict resolution.
