Chicago news headlines overwhelmingly paid a picture of a broken City defining our neighborhoods by violence poverty and failing schools these dismissive tropes perpetuate The Narrative of hopelessness for our city and its families but that's not the Chicago we know at Holy Family Ministries driven by love of God and neighbor we ask what about Chicago's children our emerging leaders what about the bright Minds carrying hopes bigger than that backpacks impeded by barriers beyond their control we see Chicago's children we believe in their Limitless potential and we know they are not statistics they are the future what about a community that stands with these children instead of standing by investing in their success shining a light on their god-given potential and helping them fall in love with life what about classrooms filled with possibility and neighborhoods vibrant with opportunity holy family doesn't just ask these questions we answer them through play-based preschool rigorous faith-based kindergarten through 8th grade education before and after school and summer care peace informed leadership development and supports for the entire family because when Holy Family asked what about Chicago's children we don't concede to negative headlines we Empower children to become hope filled gritty go-getters and they are our children don't quit they go and get these students are the answers to the question what about Chicago the future is flourishing with potential for them our city and the world all glory be to God
