Introduction/Chpt 1 Pgs 1-6

Go to the random word generator (https://randomwordgenerator.com)and pick one of the first 3 words it gives you. Create a Haiku(5-7-5) about that word. Be sure to post a picture of the word, as well. We will present these at the end of class or first thing tomorrow.

Project for Spring Benefit Dinner

I have attached my final haiku, your job is to put your Haiku where mine is. Also, please choose a picture that goes along with your poem.

Either choose: Pocahontas, Chief Powhatan(her father), John Smith or John Rolfe. Write a journal/diary entry from their point of view about the founding of Jamestown and their connections to the other people listed. Write this in the form of a journal or diary. Make capitalization, punctuation and capital "I"s a main priority as you are writing. This should be 10-20 sentences in lenght (or more if you want to keep writing!)
