Harrington doing academic was a major lifestyle adjustment I had to quickly become accustomed to serving as cold as educator but still relying on mr. Roper misses minor mrs. Claudia and mrs. Curie to make sure that I wouldn't I was navigating the children as they should be navigated as a middle school so important to continue e-learning at home during this pandemic we could not let engagement and rigor go away you can let her students have nothing to do at home we needed to step up and create something to bring all of our parents and students together in one place for that we created the e-learning, Fantastic website where teachers parents and students can all communicate together Engage New tools find lesson plans find resources for after school before school attendance and have a one-stop-shop for all those materials to come together one place that was very frustrating in the beginning I can fly but then I said well who can I call I promise you everything I asked him and he stayed on the phone with me for maybe an hour hate to say that but stayed on the phone with me an hour and help me work through every little niche mr. Shanahan shout out to mr. Shanahan with my homework and she helped me when I do something wrong and I feel happy platform is very user-friendly as a parent and student impressed with the quality of the content display the user-friendliness content applicability of the content that changes every week and that is very engage into the students I love the way holy family just really just out of Rockin I don't have a device for the kids they need to reach I don't even think they what does he had a device at home they just bought me a message telling me when and where to pick up the device I love the way they just didn't let go Holy Family School is more than a school is basically like a home away from home so the connection has been more family-oriented opposed to being a teacher mother parents for principal parent is been like more of a brother and sister Jason scheff I am elated for the children to go back to school in the fall as a parent I overhear the comments I didn't miss their teachers I overhear the Thomas I wish we would and they're talkin about jail or after care or even just seeing mrs. Moore and mrs. wood and saying good morning she loved the safety part of the story you know when she goes in and I don't have a problem my problem is going but when she get that it's perfect staff is I love how they know them by name not cuz they getting into trouble but because they thinking about the kids shows that they care the teachers are going to be right next to you whenever regardless they are we going to have your back if you need someone to talk so they're going to be right there they just like a second parent to you for like I really love that it really strive to create a face face in a community where kids are able to see where they're able to express themselves in a healthy Anarchy they're able to grow from their experiences while developing healthy relationships with us and School staff members and any positive adults who may be able to help them become successful in the future when we finally are able to get back to school one thing that I'm really low forward to is seeing the smiling faces of our kids I think that our kids are super inspirational because regardless of what may be going on in their home life or in the community they always come to school with a smile on her face and it really does make me know appreciate the little things by make me grateful to be part of this community as well more than anything turn is pandemic prayer is a must and I've actually reached out to you Rev Martin for prayer with concerns I had with Freddy and and just to know that and this time you still can get that same communication even though we can talk face-to-face in an embryo each other with you know a hug if it's needed so I mean it is like I said the word phenomenal is really no words to express to explain that here at Holy Family once a week everyone comes to where to meet in one location to worship through song and dance it is a high-energy experience Pastor Hunter brings lessons and messages of light and hope their story in Scripture that students later have an opportunity to black.
